Traditional herbal remedies for cough and cold
from Floraleads GR
Most herbal remedies for respiratory system come from the countries with apparently cold climate. In fact, majority of respiratory problems begin with a simple cold. If not properly treated or neglected it may grow to upper respiratory tract bacterial infections and inflammations. Herbal supplements are traditionally used to maintain healthy lungs, promote resistance to infections of the upper respiratory tract, improve conditions of bronchi-alveolar passages, help combat cough and bronchitis. To help build effective defense against respiratory infections take vitamins and herbal supplements as preventative treatment during high risk seasons. When in high risk areas, do not inhale deep, use air filters and masks. Combine vitamins, supplements and gargle to build efficient defense against respiratory infections. No single treatment is a panacea, but combined they can significantly improve body's immunity to infections and reduce the risk of complications. If respiratory conditions are persistent - consult health care professional.
